I'm just a regular person seeking knowledge, I've taken notes of your recommendations but if I want to pick up a book that I don't know about, how can I be sure that the ahadith in it are not weak ? how do you go about it ? do you check every hadith you come across ? jazakumallahukhairan

All companions of the prophet (SAW) did not have same type of beard. Some had short , some very long, some used to trim on every Friday. This itself means there was no restriction on size of beard. When the first Wahee came upon our beloved prophet (SAW), he already had beard at that time !!! SAW= Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam. He (SAW) did not change the way he dressed or the way he spoke or the way he looked (he had beard even before that Wahee was sent upon him)!!! He (SAW) continued to stay in the same house and in same neighbourhood!!!! The biggest problem Muslims across the world are facing today are “ghettoisation”!! We want to look different, live in our own neighbourhood and don’t want to have any connection with the non-Muslims !!! This is making Islam look like alien religion and Muslims as “difficult” people. In Quran Allah (the One God worth the worship and all the praises ) has mentioned at multiple places that it’s huge advantage and blessing upon people of Makkah and Madinah that their prophet (SAW) is a person from amongst them and eats and drinks just like them and walks in the market place just like them and speaks language which they all comprehend !!!! What does this mean ???? This means Allah (The One God worth all the worship and praises) clearly acknowledging the importance of mingling with normal people and not trying to look different !!!! We should all think about it carefully. Of course don’t start aping the ignorant people. Maintain your dignity. But if they have something good be open minded to embrace them if that also happens to be within limits of shariah (for example wearing suit jacket with loose trousers for men should be acceptable clothing and it brings us “acceptable” to non-muslims psychologically. Even the word “Allah” in Arabic means “One God worth the worship”. In Arab culture it’s well known , so when a Muslim tell a non-Muslim Arab about “Allah” he/she understands he is talking about “One God worth the worship!!” who is God for all of them !!! But when we use same word “Allah” in front of a non Arab Non Muslim he/she won’t understand meaning of Allah will start thinking “Allah” is some “Muslim God”!!! That’s the tragedy !!! I don’t know how many people will understand what I am trying to say here. I am not Islamic scholar and not good in explaining in proper words. But I am trying to highlight importance of NOT trying to marginalises ourselves from the normal crowd while maintaining our own dignity is important part of Daawah.

Sunni is sect, just like other sects. [6:159] Sahih International Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects - you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. the hadith books are not from Allah. Allah tells us the Quran is fully detailed/ a detailed explanation (6:114). If you follow details and explanations from the hadith books and don't solely rely on the Verses of the Quran for the details and explanations for your religion, you are not following Allah's Verse and if you continue to follow them after knowing Allah's Verse then you are rejecting Allah. You can go to Hell for this.

Is that calligraphy? or some kalimaat from the Quran or Sunnah?. I have heard that hanging Such Kalimat or verses of the Quran on the wall are a form of Amulet. Can you please guide me on this one☺️

What about this? Ibn Battaal (2/33-34). Ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him) said: One of the things that they - i.e., those who say that the thigh is not ‘awrah- quoted as evidence was the words of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) in this hadith: “My knee was touching the thigh of the Prophet of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)”, because the apparent meaning would suggest that this touching occurred without a barrier, and touching the ‘awrah without a barrier is not permissible. According to the report of Muslim and those who followed him: the izaar did not uncover it as a result of a deliberate action on the part of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), but we may conclude that the thigh is not ‘awrah, on the basis that he left it like that, because even though it is possible that this may happen unintentionally, if it was ‘awrah he would not have left it like that, because he was infallible (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
